“Staying Close to Love”

We make our pilgrimage with Jesus as he goes to the cross.  The strength we seek is to remain present to his suffering.  Because we love him, we can’t turn away.  Because he loves us, he won’t come down.  But remaining close, we witness a love beyond our comprehension and powerful enough to redeem even us.
