“Joy-the Sign of God’s Presence”
Because we remained close to Jesus in his suffering, we are grief-stricken at his dying. We can’t imagine any way forward. So Jesus comes to find his friends after he has been raised from the dead and he consoles them. And their despair gives way to unspeakable joy! Joy is the evidence of God’s presence and the witness within us.
