Celebrating 150 Years

1874 to 2024

Dr. Rev. Sheldon Jackson, a prominent 19th century Presbyterian pastor and missionary, founded our church in 1874 with six members. The chapel is the oldest place of worship in the town of Monument, Colorado.
In 2019 the chapel went through a restoration to preserve its structural integrity and beauty.
A Founder's Day celebration, with a rededication of the Chapel, took place on May 19, 2024.
