All Shall Be Well: Rest, Renewal, and the Deep Peace of God

In challenging times such as these, we are called to cultivate an extra measure of discipline and inten-tion so that our hearts do not slip into despair. Yet ours is not the first age marked by political turmoil, religious upheaval, or the seeming volatility of the natural world. Across Christian history, such moments have given rise to powerful women mystics —faithful witnesses who listened deeply for God and spoke hope with clarity and courage.

Through the lives and visions of women such as Clare of Assisi, Catherine of Siena, Julian of Norwich, and Hildegard of Bingen, we are reminded that love endures, wisdom is born in contemplation, and God remains present even in chaos. As we listen to their voices and practices, we are invited to place our own hope more fully in God—and to trust, with Julian, that “All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”
The Women's GIFT (Growing In Faith Together) Bible study.
We meet from 9:30-11:15 AM on Thursdays in the Adult Education Room.  All women are invited to join us in this time of learning.

Please contact the church office at (719) 481-3902 during business hours for additional information. Business hours are posted at the bottom of this page.
