Jesus withdrew to a holy mountain by himself. Then when the darkness came the disciples faced a storm as they crossed the sea. Jesus left his spiritual retreat and walked across the water to reach out and save the disciples from their peril. How might we enter into a sacred rhythm that we might "withdraw "for spiritual formation time to prepare for the storms of life that inevitably come? Jesus reaches out to us in the rhythm of our prayers and in the storms we each face.
