Choosing Belief Over Doubt. When we have felt disappointed by God, we sometimes build high expectations of what it would take for us to risk trusting God again. Thomas would not/could not believe, unless Jesus met every one of his demands. Which Jesus did for Thomas, as he did for the other 10 disciples. But Jesus praised those who would believe without demands. Their blessing would be the proofs that come along the way on their journey of following Jesus.
