“Joy Grows”
When the love of God comes to us personally, it almost feels like too much to take in. How can this be? But joy beginning to stir within us is the inner confirmation that it’s all true. How could Mary take in the privilege of being asked to bring the Christ child into this world? It was only after the angel’s visit was confirmed by Elizabeth’s joy that it all became real. Welcoming God’s joy is how we say “Yes” to God’s coming.
