Congregational Care
We pride ourselves on creating a community of faith that extends beyond the walls of our building. Whether you feel called to to help others, or are facing your own trials and in need of a kind, supportive presence in your life, we are equipped to fill the need for Christian Caring.
Deacons
The office of Deacon, as set forth in scripture, is one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ. Responsibilities are primarily aimed toward ministry to those members who are in need, sick, friendless, or in distress. Deacons provide meals, rides, and comfort to those in need.
Stephen Ministry
Monument Community Presbyterian Church is blessed to have trained Stephen Ministers who are ready to provide a one-to-one helping ministry to those in need. Stephen Ministry is a worldwide program designed to train and supervise lay people for a caring ministry within the church congregation as well as the community at large. If you are experiencing a difficult period in your life, Stephen Ministry may be able to support you. Stephen Ministry also sponsors seminars open to the congregation and the community.
